A memorial service for surf pioneer and activist John M. Kelly Jr. will be held Nov. 18 at Kapi'olani Community College.
Kelly, who founded Save Our Surf, died Oct. 3 at his home in Black Point. He had long suffered from Alzheimer's disease. He was 88.
